Susan Panico, an executive at Sony has just revealed to US Official Playstation Magazine that the wait is almost over for Sony's Playstation Home Beta. Playstation Home is an extension to the Playstation Network where users can enter virtual realm to explore and interact in - think Second Life. As of late Home Beta has only been open to a select few beta testers.

MJB — Sun, 04/06/2008 - 13:20I wonder why people feel the need to live in virtual reality rather than experience the real thing? What's the purpose? Why has Sony decided to use the term "Home"? I do not like where I think this is going.

The PS network is kind of annoying to browse through as well, at the moment... Oh Sony...
