There is no denying that The Sims series is one of the best selling game franchises on the PC market and it comes as little surprise that there is going to be another sequel to the ultra popular series. The Sims 3 teaser website says that more information will be coming on the 19th of March but there currently is some information concerning the game,

The biggest change to The Sims 3 is that it takes place in a wide-open, constantly changing neighborhood -- a much bigger sandbox, if you will, and a much more complex simulation.

All individual meters will also be replaced by new discrete moods which supposedly will take the monotony out of fulfilling your sims basic functions and allow the player to focus on the more fun aspects of the game.
