American Conquest: Divided Nation is a real-time strategy game based upon events in early American history. In the game, players will take on the role of Civil War general, Texas militia leader or pirate captain.

Building upon the successful American Conquest franchise, Divided Nation offers nine historically inspired campaigns played across more than 50 maps set in a turbulent 19th century America. The game will introduce more than 100 new units, 20 new building types and a variety of unique game play and combat model enhancements appropriate for the time period. Campaigns span historical conflicts including the American Civil War, the Texas War of Independence and the Battle of New Orleans.

Key features
  • Troops based on various historical periods, including pirates, pioneers and Texas militiamen
  • All troop clothing, weapons and insignia are based on historical fact, with countless hours of painstaking research behind each minute detail to ensure historical accuracy
  • Realistic non-combatant environmental objects such as fences, buildings, wagons, railway stations and telegraph offices modeled on their real world counterparts from the era
  • All environmental objects have a utility in the game and are fully destructible. Take out an enemy railway to reduce his supply lines, or smash a telegraph office to reduce communications capabilities.
  • Heavy weaponry, including Ironclads, horse artillery and gatling guns are all available in the game
  • A wide variety of weaponry from the era is available, ensuring players can employ a wide variety of strategies during combat
